FIM 10.0 SP14 with Tomcat 7

Hello,

Have you any procedure to Install/Configure FIM 10.0 SP14 with Tomcat 7 which was installed by IPS 4.1 SP7 on the same server?

When I installed with this configuration, I didn't find the variable value: BOE installation root Directory>\SAP BusinessObjects Enterprise XI 4.0\win64_x64\jdk\bin

So when I execute "reset_acpwd.bat" on DOS window, I receive the error message 'java' is not recognized as an internal or external command

Thanks in advance,

Kamal

Thanks for your quick answer Mariam. But I don't have Tomcat 6 on may server!!

Here is the steps of my installation:

1. Install IPS 4.1 SP04 after SP07=> It install Tomcat 7

2. Install UMC 10.0 for BI 4.1 SP07

3. Install Data Services 4.2 SP 06

4. Install FIM 10.0 SP12

5. Install SP 14 of FIM 10.0

FIM 10.0 SP14 don't support Tomcat 7?

Kamal,

Sounds more like you have not set up environment variables (PATH) so the system cannot find 'java'

See for example: http://stackoverflow.com/questions/15796855/java-is-not-recognized-as-an-internal-or-external-comman...

If you just enter the command 'java' in C:\ it should come up with this:

Hey,

After adding the path : BOE installation root Directory>\SAP BusinessObjects Enterprise XI 4.0\win64_x64\sapjvm\bin;BOE installation root Directory>\SAP BusinessObjects Enterprise XI 4.0\win64_x64\sapjvm\jre\bin

No, I got this error message:

Exception in thread main java.lang.noclassdeffounderror:com/sap/fpm/fim/administration.ACPwdManager

Caused by java.lang.noclassdeffounderror:com/sap/fpm/fim/administration.ACPwdManager

at java.net.URLClassLoader$1.run(URL ClassLoader.java:255)

at ...

Could not find the main class: com.sap.fpm.fim.administration.ACPwdManager.

Program will exit

Thanks,

Hi Kamal,

did you install JDK before?

In my case installing JDK 8 is resolved issue.

Try to install JDK 8 before installation.

Also read section "2.6.4 Third-Party Prerequisites" from installation guide.
