Withholding Tax Amount getting calculated Incorrectly in F-48

Hello Experts,

I am facing an issue of Withholding Tax while processing Vendor Advance F-48. Withholding Tax is getting calculated incorrectly for a particular vendor. For e.g. I am entering the Advance for vendor A of Rs.500000 and withholding tax rate for the vendor is maintained at the rate of 2% in vendor master. So the system should calculate withholding tax of Rs.10000, but the system is calculating only Rs.9800. But if, I take another vendor with same withholding tax code, the system is calculating the withholding tax correctly. I am not able to understand the system behavior.

All the configuration is properly maintained in the system related to withholding tax. Also, there is no exemption for the vendor in this case. So, I am not getting any solution for this.

So, any assistance in this regard would be of great use for me.

Thanks and Regards,

Akshay

      Hi Mukhtar Sir,

I have not changed the configuration. What, I did is, when the TDS window pops out, there are two columns viz. withholding tax base amount and withholding tax amount, so, I entered the values in the same manually and it is calculating correctly then.

      Regards,

      Akshay
