Ability to attach support documents for Family dependents in ESS

Hi Experts,

We have a requirement to attach support documents for Family Dependents section in Personal Information in ESS from portal.

We are using Portal 7.02 and ESS is webdynpro java.

Please suggest on how to upload the attachments in Family dependents section. Is there any infotype or subtype to map with Family dependents.

As it is an urgent requirement please send you replies at the earliest.

I would suggest you to go for HCMPF app, it would be way simpler than trying to modify current SAP one.

Yes, I would suggest HCM Processes and Forms to meet your needs. Very easy to do using that versus a custom solution.

Can you please confirm whether we can achieve the functionality of uploading the supporting documents for Family Dependents in ESS using HCM process and forms.

Also let me know who is responsible for doing this ?

Copy the FAM DC into ur name space and do the required changes.

You can add the UI for uploading etc but you need to figure out how you will store it and how would HR or some one would access it.

If you have any approvals etc may be better to go for custom HCMPF from development for this.

Suggest me on the next steps to perform on the customization of the requirement uploading the support documents for Family dependents.
