Hi,

Check Counting rule & Deduction rule for this specific EG & ESG grouping level.

Could be delimited the counting rule from specific dates .

Hi,

Please check in table V_554S_O screen number 2001 maintained or not for respective absence type

As Sakarsan mentioned above Check Counting rule & Deduction rule for this specific EG & ESG grouping level and make sure All the week days have been check marked and holiday classes, day types, counting class for period work schedule and daily work schedule class check marked properly as per client requirement and check whether condition for absence/attendance hours or days check marked or not as per requirement and check Quota multiplier maintained or not in counting and also check whether proper deduction rule has been assigned or not in table T556C.

In table V_554S_Q make sure Quota deduction has been check marked and also make sure respective counting rule assigned or not to the absence type.

And in table V_556R_B check whether proper Absence Quota has been assigned or not and make sure days or hours selected properly or not as per requirement.

Hi Zakir,

Thanks for the reply,

As i have mentioned earlier, It is happening for only for few  employees, Other employees data is fine.

If there is any config issue, i guess other all employees will face the problem. Appreciate if you give any other suggestion ..

Sekhar

Dear All,

I have Checked Substitution infotype for the PERNR.

There is a record available , and It is Showing Week off.

PFB the Screen Shot.

Employee Tried to Apply absence on 22 and 23rd October, on these same days there is a substitution, and those days are week off. Dew to that I guess quota has not deducted ?

Please Confirm is my guess is correct ?

So that I will inform my Client, this is the actual reason.

Hi,

Yes, You are right. System will consider substitution record. And in you scenario, 22-23 are WOFF.

As Woff will have planned working hours as 0 and you did not marked in counting rule. Hence it is not counted.

Solution: Check "Planned working hours =0" in counting rule if you want to deduct quota for CL on WOFF.

Once please make this change and try it.

Thanks,

Ketul

Hi Chethan,

Thanks for the Reply, I will talk to User and Do the necessary changes.

But I don't think so we need to deduct the quota on week off day..

I guess emp wrongly applied leave.

Hi,

Yeah, generally CL should not deduct for WOFF.

Then you may ask user to remove Substitution for those 2 days. After that run report RPTBPC10 to deduct quota correctly.

Thanks,

Ketul

Hi Ketul,

I have tested for one employee..

It is worked.. Once I run the above report  info type 2006 I have seen quota deduction has been adjusted..but in infotype 2001 still it is showing it as abs .days 0.

I will suggest same solution for my User..

Is info type 2001 will remain same after executing the report also ?

Please clarify.

Hi,

For that report, you need to run with Check Correction (First option in report). Please mark that and execute report for complete period (Start and End dates of all quota).

Considering, 22-23 as WOFF, Absence days will always be 0 as there is not planned working hours.

Or if you have removed substitution and employee has actual planned working hours for 22-23, then absence days should come.

There is difference in 3 days.

1. Absence days : Consider only planned working days (Exclude Holiday, WOff and special day - Day type 1).

2. Calendar Days : Actual Calendar days - Including holiday, woff, special days.

3. Quota Ded Days:  Calendar days - Unchecked days from counting rule. (Like exclude Holiday but not woff likevise.).

Hope now this will be helpful.

Thanks,

Ketul

Hi Shekhar,

Check Counting rule & Deduction rule for this specific EG & ESG grouping level and also check for the WSR ....it has been generated or not

please check the following table for your reference:

Deduction Rules for Absence Quotas

V_556R_B

Counting rule

T556C

Breakdown of Absences After Quota Deduction

V_T554A

Please check the configuration part of deduction rule and counting rule.

Hi,

As per standard its purely related to counting rule and selection rule for absence grouping.

Can you please share counting rule applicable for this employee.

After checking counting rule check with DWS.

PS: There is selection rule based on different type of absence and absence group.

Eg. I came across once scenario for same day leave Like 10.10.2015-10.10.2015.

1. CL  : Absence Hours = 8 Hours

2. SL : Absence Hours = 7 Hours . How?

Because for CL Absence grouping is 1 and for Absence grouping is 2.

And for both selection rule for DWS is different so for CL, DWS is considered as NOR1 without variant. and for SL, it is considered as NOR1 with Variant A having planned working hours as 7.

This is just for information. I guess in your case its should be related to counting rule.

Thanks,

Ketul

Let me know if this employee is working on Sundays for which a CL is applied ??. Leaves have to be applied for a working day, so pls check the shift details of the employee and let us to give more suggestion.
