Hi Gurus,
We have a process where in we will be copying order1 to another order2. we have customization where we will assign a storage location based on custom logic. In some cases material might not be extended to this storage location. For example I had created SO1 there are 3 materials and storage location determined is FRTY (Custom) and all threenmaterials are not extended to this storage location. when I copy this SO1 to create another order only first line is getting copied and remaining lines are not getting copied. was there any standard way to solve this. while Debugging I had found an issue with *MAEPV_Select program any OSS notes available to fix this
At the time of coping the SO1 to new order SAP copy first line item and then showing you error why other line items are not able to copy. Second thing is you did customization for assigning a storage location so system not allows you to copy storage location in case of default copy control. You can new/change customize program to copy storage location also.
OR you can extend the material in required storage location.
I thing OSS not work in that case.

Raj Mane

I think there is no OSS note that can fix your master data gap.
Not even sure if your problem in copy of sales order is related to the missing storage location.
You would need to extend the material with this storage location, then try again, If all 3 items are copied then, then you are probably right that it must have something to do with the missing storage location, but even then I would first analyze the user exits as it does not explain why item 1 is copied despite of non-existing storage location.
If item 2 and 3 are not copied after having the master data extended then the root cause must be something else
