Stock Details POP-Up required while creating PR

Dear Experts,

My requirement is a follows:

User should be able to see the stock details & open PR details for a particular material while raising new Purchase Requisition for that material.

User should be intimated with a POP-Up for the same.

How this can be achieved?

Any standard configuration or need to do enhancement.

Dear Mahesh,

You can check stock while creating PR. Please see the attached screen shot please. But as far as Open PR's are concerned you have to go in new session.

PR is internal document which does not mean the final documents to purchase the goods.

PO is the final documents which is sent to external supplier to procure goods.

What is Biz requirement that you need stock check while creating PR?

There is no standard configuration available.

But if you want still you can check with enhancement.

Business requirement is that to avoid generating unwanted PR despite of having stock in place.

How can this be achieved through enhancement?

a good maintained system does not even need a user to create requisitions manually, it creates the requisitions automatically with the MRP run, and here it depends on the MRP type if it only looks at stocks or even at future requirements or historic consumptions.
