Ports needed for Xcelsius operations

Hello everyone,

We are getting an error for dashboard app when we try to open it. It shows Xcelsius stopped working: Appcrush xcelsius.exe. We realized the ACL Affects the dashboards app operations. We would like to know what ports are needed for dashboards operations to add them to the ACL. And also the ports for Microsoft Excel if necessary.

Check if the Microsoft Vissio is installed.If yes then uninstall it and then check.

This issue is because of conflicting VC++ redistributables.

Also try running the application using administrator

Also try to disable the start page for xcelsius

1. Go to SAP Dashboards assets folder (By default "C:\Program Files (x86)\SAP BusinessObjects\Xcelsius 4.0\assets")

2. Rename folder "startPage" to another name like "startPage_change"

Thanks Amit, the ACL was disabled and i was not able to test it. Thank you so much for your help.
