ESRI Map not loading on sap work manager 6.2 demo app on windows

Hi Experts,

I have installed the sap work manager 6.2 demo client on panasonic toughbook which has windows 8.

When i navigate to the Locations Tab, i see that the ESRI map is not loaded. Any reasons why?

One important point to note - a standalone ESRI Client is already installed on the same toughbook.Would this cause an issue ?

Can you try Work Manager 6.3 demo app? We want to gauge if the demo apps has it (ESRI) enabled or not (Check ConfigPanel). Check the landing page above again. Quick Guide - Checklist to set ESRI in SAP Work Manager 6.1.X (WPF client).

Hopefully somebody in the demo team can reply to this question.

It turned out that the open ui control was loading but the client was unable to access the URL to load the base maps from the customer network.  Moving the device outside the network (hotspot) then allowed the maps to load as expected.

Please confirmed that you have reviewed and followed most of our statements here.

Most of the techniques listed there are what is known within the community.

Also check: SAP note 2195063

Since our released of the ESRI for Work Manager the only thing that may have changed is the information about Windows 8.  As a test, you may try your same setup in Windows 7 just to see if it is Windows 8 related.
