Hi Experts,
I have inconsistency in WM of -100 items, it has negative quant in 902. There no positive quant. my business has asked me to remove it without hit IM. I tried but it was not possible for me. even I have not found the answere of it.
I have an idea if I can remove from lqua .
Please suggest if that is fine or is there anyother idea.
Have you checked t-code LB10 for outstanding process? A negative in 902 storage type is typically a reversal of a purchase order.
Check LS24 for the material number. Is stock showing in non 9xx storage type?
As Jurgen mentioned, direct table changes are last resort and not recommended.
If no stock can you not add some to clear the negative? If you have been able to remove positive stock where there is a negative for same qty then sounds not right to me. Standard SAP will not allow stock disposal if a negative exists.
Regards
Darren

Use LT01 (mvmnt 999) to pull a positive from 999/lost&found (equal in every way to the negative). Put that positive stock into the same storage type/bin as the negative quant. That will move the negative quant into 999 so you can clear the difference with LI21. This will "hit" your IM as an inventory clearing as from a cycle count.
If the business is very serious about no IM posting you might have to research the history (material documents) going back 4 years to explain to them why an IM posting is required (show them where the stock was shipped or adjusted). FIN team can make manual postings to offset the IM posting if required.
As Frenchy has mentioned, we would expect there to be a positive quantity in another storage bin.
I have tried to re-create your issue but cannot (with our SAP configuration) I cannot reverse a purchase order receipt (which is our 902 interim storage type) without there being adequate stock to cover the reversal.
Have you tried a direct adjustment? MB1A mvt 712 with storage type 902 and the storage bin as your reference. This will directly adjust stock without LI21 confirmation. We have used this process twice in the last 8 years as I have invariably been able to find the error going back through TR/TO history.
It's not recommended but if you are pushed for a fix give it a try

Direct table updates without deep analysis and understanding how it could happen and closing that gap are not recommended at all. Call SAP support if you are sure you did everything right

Try report RLTREORG2 to analyze inconsistency.
