Set default check mark in Individual customer form

Hi,

I want to set "Marked" check box of prospect when i open the Individual customer form.

I came to know that, i can do this by define work flow rules.

I did it but somehow it wont work. (When i open the form, prospect has not checked mark.

My Step: (Let me correct if wrong)

Step 1: Enter basic data

Description: Se default value of Individual customer

Business Object: Individual Customer

Timing: On create only

Step 2: Define Condition

What should i define?

Step 3: Define actions

There are four actions

What should I select in that too?

    Vincent,

    Your approach id good but somehow it it won't be effective due to unavailability of role field in ( field update option ).

    If role field available in field update action then you could have set the workflow as:

    Description: Set Default Prospect for Individual Customer

    Business Object: Individual Customer

    Timing: On create

    Define Condition: If role field is not equal to Prospect

    Action: Field Update

    Role = Prospect ( But Role field is not available in the field update action so you won't be able to use the workflow to set the Prospect )

    You should go with SDK development to set the role as Prospect for Individual customer.
