temp files

Hello,

I am running Business Objects 4.1 and have found about 50GB of what looks to be old temp session files at

C:\Program Files (x86)\SAP BusinessObjects\SAP BusinessObjects Enterprise XI 4.0\java\pjs\container\temp

Most end with a .jar.

From what I read in other posts these are old session files that some how got left behind.  I am wondering can I delete them? or do I need to do something first?

Yes, you should be able to delete those, after the SIA is stopped and all SAP Java processes are terminated.

Denis,

Thanks for the reply.  Now for the bonus round questions

How do I stop/terminate the 2 items you mentioned?

you manage SIA from CCM (Central Control manager )
and if after stopping SIA you see SAP java processes still running in Task manager - you kill them there.
See Admin guide for details.
