Report Texts in transport request

Former Member

HI Experts,

I created a new include program in the existing function module. When i see at transport request i found “Report Texts” object for that Include. I haven't create any text elements but why this "Report Texts" object was included in my transport request. When I try to display the texts, I get the message “You cannot maintain text elements for includes”. If i remove this "Report Texts" Object from my T.R before releasing, will it creates any issues.

If your transport entry is LIMU REPT L<fugr><suffix> then I don't understand what it is for (there could be only LIMU REPT SAPL<fugr>), so I think you can delete it. Anyway, is it really a problem? (usually we never clean a transport request generated by SAP)

I also wonder if this is actually an issue. Maybe OP created include as a report at first, then realized mistake and re-created as include? Who knows what could've transpired there. Unless it causes an issue, it's better not to mess with transport entries.

Sahu,

Check if the Object name against that REPT is anyway linked to your INCLUDE.May be there is an entry for your include in REPOTEXT table.

If there is any entry in REPOTEXT for your lNCLUDE then better don't delete it.
