Sync in Material Master in a HUB approach-Transactional data updates

Hello All,

I have a query regrading the functionality of MDG- M in a Hub approach.

Ideally certain Material Master views would get automatically updated by transactional data- e.g. Moving Average Price, Consumption data etc,

Now after Go-live my views of Material Master in ECC would keep getting updated because of transactional data .

This would not happen in the Material Master of the MDG system.

How do I sync it?

Problem would be that after a CR is created in MDG for such a material & then I-doc comes from MDG system to ECC system it will not have the updated transaction MAP etc - as it is coming from MDG system.

How is such a situation handled by MDG.

Thanks

    Kavita,

it depends on the where you want to update the data and want to keep botht the system sync same time.to answer your question you can for example Moving avarage price is update when material ledger is active.

    approch would be

1.Run the accounting and costing jobs on MDG and send it back to ECC.

    Hello All,

Does anyone have any suggestions on how the HUB deployment would work for Materials.

Where certain fields of Material Master are automatically updated by transactional data in ECC.

    Thanks in advance,

    Kavita
