ALE - Send BP data from ERC to HCM

Hi All,

i tried to find something on web but i didn' get so much...

I need to pass via ALE some Business Part data (tables BUTxxx) from a Recruiting system to a HCM system.

I just found message type BUPA_INBOUND_MAIN_SAVE_M and BUPA_INBOUND_REL_SAVE_M and put them on BD64

but now I don't know what i should do.

Looking on the system i found there is the report BUPA_SEND to send BP object, but i noticed that i should do some kind of customizing that i don't know.

At the end, my question is:

Someone have a good documentation about how to send BP data via ALE?

Hi David,

Thank you .I think it could be useful, but it is quite clear until the first "Note", after it becomes really confusing. It's not clear when it speaks about "sending system" and when it speaks about the "receiving system". It's not clear how to trigger/create/fill idoc in the "sending system" and how to send them.

Furthemore, my needs was also to send relations between BP and CP and NA (hrp1000, hrp1001) but the message type BUPA_INBOUND_REL_SAVE_M does not seems to do it...

Maybe it's more useful for me create an idoc segment starting from HRMD_A and put inside also the tables i need (but000, but0id, ...) ?

Im running into a similar requirement.

I need something similar to BD14 (distribution for vendors) but for BP, and that generate BUPA_INBOUND_REL_SAVE_M, ideally.

Hi Bruno,

sorry but we didn't use idoc anymore also because we noticed that acutually wasn't useful for our needs. We just implemented a Remote Function Module.
