How to remove prompt from webi report

Hi ,

There is a prompt applied in universe. I want to remove this prompt from webi , not from universe . Please tell me how I remove this?

    Hi Vishakha,

    The predefined prompts can not be removed from the report.

    The option is you can use the custom SQL and comment the SQL part of the prompt, provided you are not using any other optional prompt in your report because custom SQL does not not work for optional prompts.

    You might be having a condition created in universe which has a prompt and the setting Apply on Universe. You might need to uncheck the option Use Filter as mandatory

    Hi Vishakha,

    Prompts cannot be removed in webi, for removing the prompts, open the universe upon wich u created the webi report, select prompt as "Optional".

    Prompts can be optional or mandatory. If you do not supply a value for an optional prompt, the prompt

    is ignored. You must supply values for all mandatory prompts before you can filter the data by running

    the prompts.

      Hi Vizit ,

      The prompt is optional but we require to remove from report. but unable to see the prompt properties. because it comes directly from universe. And if I am not supply any values report can't run. any new idea.
