Time management Over Time Scenario

Hi All,

My client has a requirement where the employees are eligible for Over Time, the rates of the OT are given below,

The OT is deals weekly and paid monthly,

eg, 1st week Emp worked for 10 hours (6hr+30% and 4hr+60%) or (1st 6 hrs is paid as 30% and after 6 hours paid as 60%

          2nd week-worked 5 hr (5hr+30%)

          3rd week- worked 8hr (6hr+30% and 2hr+60%)

          4th week- worked 4hr (4hr at 30% rate)


and,  100% (2 times Salary) for the work on resting days or holidays

         


Can you please guide me how to write a PCR for the above requirement.

Hi Anju,

We can configure this based upon the time management integration with Payroll. I think you are going through time management integration functionality.

But I have a question that for some of the month 5th weeks are there as well Payroll period is completing in the mid of the week on that time how will you calculate.

Or you have fixed 1 to 4th week then again from 1st week. This 1st start point as per discussion had with client. Am I correct?

Thanks for the document its really good with good understanding.

as per your question, client wants clock in and out for all the employees, but only for operational/factory employee he wants to run OT for the captured clockin and out.

but for rest of the employees client does not want to calculate payroll depending on positive TM.

My question is, is it possible to capture clock in and out for all the employees.

and to run process payroll (OT) for only group of employees. and for the rest of employees to run normal payroll with clock in and out.

Yes.

You can proceed with clock in and clock out for all employee's but for those ESG you would like to calculate OT for them in the PCR you can query the ESG (operation- OUTWPPERSB).

Hi,

There are three aspects in your requirement. Those are:

1) Getting the appropriate week number of the month from time evaluation

2) Calculating extra hours apart from normal working hours and generating time wage types.

3) Valuating the time wage types and making the payment as per the calculation formula.

Please specify the following details:

1)Which country version of payroll you are running?

2)You implemented +Ve TM or -Ve TM?

Because, certain country version of SAP HCM may have the solution if it is a standard requirement.

Assuming +Ve TM:

1) You can assign 4 different 'work schedule'in infotype 7 (each for 4 weeks).

2) Query the DWS in Time PCR using VARSTDAYPG operation and add the hours to appropriate time type. Then add this hours into a time wage type in ZL table using ADDZL function.

3) Valuate those TM wage types from ZL table in Payroll.
