Hi All,
In the C4C customer replication integration scenario, since we can block the prospect being replicated to ERP from C4C. However, in this case, what if customer want to request external pricing in Quote with this prospect?
Does any body have any idea for this?
thanks!
BR,
Qiang
Hi Qiang,
If you want to request external pricing you need to have the prospect/customer in ERP. The pricing call executes a simulation of the quote/order in ERP and to receive the correct pricing a customer master must be set-up in ERP.

Hi Simon,
Thanks for you promotive reply.
In our case is that the Prospect won't be replicated to ERP but only real customer, but it allow end user to create quote with prospect. so customer want also request price too.
Currently, we are thinking about to create a dummy customer (with dedicated number) in ERP, and not replicate the prospect to ERP, when each "Request External Pricing" for quote, the prospect will forward to this dummy customer to get the prices return.
but in the PI, we not sure whether it can mapping this dummy customer while input is prospect via coding or configuration.
is this a workaround?

Hi Qiang,
Does this also depend on your pricing procedure access sequence in SD? Do you have a sequence purely for sales org/material, without the customer?
I've not tried if that works in the integration, in theory it should. There's also the inbound pricing exit in ECC which could be used
Thanks,
kevin

Hi Kevin,
Currently, the prices for the prospect will be based on the sales org(perhaps sales channel and division) and material. we are thinking of creating one prospect specific prices for deticately quote pricing request while it is identified with Prospect in PI. this is the open question.
Another one is that, if dummy customer created in ERP, does required to create multiple dummy customers since different sales area has its price.?

Hi Qiang,
Sounds a bit overcompicated to me, why not just replicate the prospect to ERP prior to a quote? Or change/use the ERP base price when creating a quote with a prospect customer? Whats the value of adding a price for a dummy customer, how does this differ to the current sales org/material price?
