Hi,
I am fairly new to Enterprise Portal, and I am a bit lost in solving this problem. The portal suddenly went down last week, and we are struggling getting it up and running again.
Here is the last part of the dev_jcontrol file:
[Thr 5804] Tue Feb 14 12:06:53 2006
[Thr 5804] *** ERROR => invalid return code of process [bootstrap] (exitcode=66) [jstartxx.c 1452]
[Thr 5804] JControlExecuteBootstrap: error executing bootstrap node [bootstrap] (rc=66)
[Thr 5804] JControlCloseProgram: started (exitcode = 66)
[Thr 5804] JControlCloseProgram: good bye... (exitcode=66)
what we have checked (and checked out) are the following:
- The database is not full (set to automatic growth, with several GB available)
- The java home properties are correct
- The MMC is not able to restart the SQL Server.
- The Instance.properties file is created.
From reading around it seems that the Instance Bootstrap fails, but the only sensitive thing I get from reading these logs is the line <i>"Caused by: java.sql.SQLException: [SAP_NWMss][SQLServer JDBC Driver][SQLServer]Login failed for user 'SAPJ2EDB'."</i>
Since we haven't changed any credentials this seems strange to me. Also, database configuration isn't my strongest skill, so I really don't know how to proceed from here...
Anyone got any ideas of what I should do?
I will reward helpful answers!
Regards, Stina.
