Archive smartform/adobe form output from spool to opentext server

Hi all,

I have a requirement to save the PDF file output from smartform/adobe form from spool to opentext archive server.

I have already gone through all the SCN threads related to archiving. From there I got to know I have to use below three FM:

1. ARCHIV_METAINFO_GET

2. ARCHIVOBJECT_CREATE_FILE

3. ARCHIV_CONNECTION_INSERT

Please guide me through the use of each FM. I am able to read the spool in PDF format but not getting how to use these FM.

Is there some problem with running 'where used' for the FMs and looking at how they are used? And is there any reason configuring output with archiving option is not working without custom ABAP? Also hard to believe Opentext solution came with no documentation...

Kindly post more specific questions to avoid this post interpreted as "spec dumping".

Hello Sneha,

    There is already built-in functionality available for outgoing document in OT. There may be no using these FM’s to achieve this functionality. Please go through ADA configuration document.  Let me if you still have some problem.
