Hi Rakesh

This could be a connection issue. In RSA1--> source systems, would you please check if your source system connection is ok? If this is not ok, you need to correct the connection problem first.

Is there any more information on detail tab of the infopackage monitor screen other than the information which you have already provided

Regards

Hi Karthik,

Source system connection is OK.

other than this message there is nothing displayed in the monitor.

Do u know how to extract data from external systems to bi ? (via bapi)

Not practically. But the error seems to be like a connection issue.

Is this the first time you are loading data from that source system. May I know how did you make sure the connection is good except source system connection check.

While you wait for others to reply, could you get in touch with basis to see if the RFC settings are all good.

This is the first time i am working on external systems. So i dont know much about this.

Even when i refresh the 3rd party selections tab in info package its showing the same error.

Is this due to configuration settings ?

Guess so. Did you configure things in your source system?

I think there should be a place to configure in your source system as it should recognize that it should send data when an infopackage is triggered from BI side. In source system, the configuration should refer to your BW system and the infopackage specifically.

Did basis team configure all the settings and your third party system is already all set to send data.

When you click on 3rd party selections table, it throws the same error which means the connection is the problem.

Could you please check with the basis or the third party system and make sure all basic configurations related to the connection between two system is done properly.
