Hello Everyone
We are getting issues regarding mismatching of forecast consumption in ECC & APO systems. We have the screen shots of MD04 & RRP3 and we do see a visible difference.
As a first step, I ran CCR for PIRs in APO & found the error code 312- difference in contents (screen shot attached). There are no options of deleting them.
Also, in one of the previous post, it said to use the category 'EQ' in 'Maintain category Groups' Req.Reduction option in CFM1 txn | SCN
The above is maintained but we are still facing this error. The CIF model containing PIRs for the concerned material is very much active & not throwing any error.
Any reasons for this behavior?

Hi Soumyajit
You are performing FCST consumption in APO SNP?
If yes then you can not perform CCR for planned independent requirement between ECC and APO.
If you are releasing the FCST to SNP for FCST consumption why we also have FCST in ECC MD04. ideally we should have FCST or planned independent demand only in one system.
Sorry for posting question back but I think we can have some mistake in basic concept itself.
Please cross check and let me know if you require any additional information from my side.
Thanks

Hello Amol
You have mentioned the correct thing. But, my project requirement is such. Basically they release to SNP & then do a version copy. Then in simulation version version, they check the feasibility whether the demands could be fulfilled or not.
Now coming to the issue- two questions-
1. So ideally consumption should match or not? we are just CIFing the data from ECC to APO including all relevant category in APO
2. I observed only the PIRs in MD04 ( 350 quantities in continuous 8 months)& corresponding FC. Req in RRP3 in APO (400 quantities in the same 8 months). There is a mismatch - what I could think of is they did something in ECC (deleted the old one & created a new one) in such a way that the changes are not reflected in APO. But I don't have any proof for the same. Any reasons?

Hi Som
It´s really difficult to say that consumption should match in ECC and APO as there are multiple factors require to consider. As you are simulation version in case delivery of sales order is happening it would be readjusting the consumption in ECC where APO it will not ? You could also different consumption configuration with both the systems so I would say it´s not ideal comparison.
ECC is live system and surely there could be multiple things happening where in simulation version you might be having old picture so don´t compare them and I am sure it will never match 100%.
Please request you to close the thread following process.
Thanks
