Hello Folks,
Is there a way to use the Resource Management functionality in Project Management for Resources that are not defined in HR Org. Structure (e.g.contractors).
From what I understand, it is a prerequisite to have the Resources defined in HR Org structure to bring them as BP in PPM to really use the Resource Management functionality.
Also, want to do the CATS reporting for them. So, does just creating standalone BPs in PPM suffice ?
Thanks
Hello
I think you will need to have defined the resourced in HR
When transferring data from HR to the PPM system does not work "out of box",
certain BAdIs needs to be implemented in order to achieve certain behaviours
Example RPM_BUPA_ATTRIBUTES of BAdI HRALE00INB_DATA_READ
so your Resources will need to be defined first
