MRP from sales order

Hi,

If we create a sale order in a plant and run the MRP then system create the planned order then we convert it to production order then confirmation and stock come in customer order stock. This stock if we want to give to other customer then how it can be done. As today we are not able to divert the customer stock as it is dedicated to that sale order. Can we make it fexible if yes then which strategy we should use.

Regards,

Sun

    Hello

You are probably using a MTO planning strategy, so the material produced is linked to this specific sales order stock.

Try to use a MTS planning strategy so that the material is not linked to the sales order special stock.
In thread you have already discussed an issue related to planning strategy 40, so I believe that you are already testing it on your system.

If you only want to remove a quantity of material from the sales order special stock, you can post a stock transfer using movement type 411 E.

    Hi Sun,

If you are in pure MTO with planning strategy 20 then you have to do the stock transfer from one sales order to another sales order using the 413 E movement

as per my knowledge we can't be able to use one sales order stock to the other sales order unless if you transfer from one SO to Other..
