Replacement for FPN

Hi Guys

I am on the look-out for potential replacement to Federated portal - currently catering to multiple producers i.e. ECC, CRM, SRM etc.

Any suggestions on potential contenders please?

    • Hi Lutz,

Enhanced AI can generally replace specific remote applications and reduce the complexity of FPN.

It's not directly related to FLP, however if you chose to use FLP on EP (the new recommended portal framework page) Enhanced AI will be easier to implement as tiles on FLP.

In any case FPN will also work in FLP on EP, only its more complex and will probably have performance effects.

      BR,

      Nadav.

Hi Kunal, you should ask the Fiori guys and girls. Nowadays they pretend they can solve any probem with their magic launchpad 😉.

What do you have in your mind?

    Cheers,

    Lutz

      Let me explain ...!

To reduce dependency on FPN (i don't see it vanishing completely from the landscape 😠),

      1. Successfactors for HCM

      2. Yes, Existing Fiori (FLP) - for possible scenarios, yet to be explored

So, as per the image below, it all mixed-up for now!

      regards
