Formatted Search in User-Defined Field

Hello All,

I think I have an easy one, I have a user defined field on Marketing Documents called "Third Party Billing". We don't use the password field in BP Master so I changed its text description to "Third Party Billing Number".

I have created the query to pull OCRD.Password into my UDF on my marketing document and set it to update on change of the customer number.

My query looks like (pretty sure its wrong)

SELECT T0.[Password] FROM OCRD T0 WHERE T0.[CardCode] = '$[$4.0.1]'

after it is saved it and re opened it comes up as

SELECT T0.[Password] FROM OCRD T0 WHERE T0.[CardCode] = 'N'1''

This triggers a SQL Error, "Statement could not be prepared"

I know I am messing up the syntax of the formatted search, and could use some assistance. I need to grab the card code from my marketing document and use it as the variable in my formatted search.

Thank you in advance,

SD

I have tried '$[$4.0.1]' as well as the tablename.field variety '$[ORDR.CardCode]' but neither takes.
