Dear SAP Experts,

I have problem with adding oData service from LOCAL system alias from tcode /iwfnd/maint_service.

There are 2 shortdumps shown in st22 (screenshot attached). These errors appeared since i upgraded SAP_GWFND to 740 SP 9 in order to fulfill approve request fiori application which require IW_PGW 100 SP 07.

When i add new service from remote system alias, these errors not appeared and worked fine.

I have checked several sap notes below related with this issue, but none of them is relevant (cannot be implemented) with our system.

Hi Husin,

It says syntax error. Most probably the SP level is low or mandatory notes are missing.

ST22 tells you a keyword for searching notes.

SAP_GWFND SP13 is the latest.

Hi Masa,

Thanks for your prompt response, I have implement required SAP Note (only 1 note for backend). Need i upgrade other components like SAP_BASIS, SAP_ABA, PI_BASIS, and SAP_BW in order to make it consistent or only SAP_GWFND?

Thanks & Regards,

Husin

Hi Masa & Sarbjeet,

Thanks for your suggestion, the problem is solved now by upgrade SAP_GWFND to SP13.

Hi Husin;

The syntax error is coming from the missing method in the mentioned class. Following is the screenshot from a system with SAP_GWFND SP11.

So it is suggested to upgrade your sap_gwfnd component.
