Best process for patching outdated SBOP EDGE BI?

Hello, our company is currently running SAP BusinessObjects BI Platform 4.1 Support Pack 4 Patch 2 Version: 14.1.4.1412 and I've been tasked to upgrade the system to it's latest version which I believe is 4.1 Support Pack 6 Patch 4. I see that I can update the system by downloading each individual patch ie SP4 Patch 3,4,5,etc...and then installing but this would take many hours as we are around 27 patches behind.

I was wondering if there was a service pack that combines patches that could get us to the latest version with less installs? If there is such a thing where would I go to find it? I'm currently looking in https://support.sap.com/software/patches.html, directing to the "download basket" and am only seeing individual patches. I am planning on updating both client and server applications.

I would install the 4.1 SP6 upgrade and then just Patch 4.  The service packs and patches are generally cumulative, so you don't have to install all of them - just the most recent.

Hi ,

You can directly update BI 4.1 SP6 to BI 4.1 SP6 Patch 4.

There is no need to install patch 1 ,2,3 on top of BI 4.1 SP6 to get the latest patch 4.

Fixes are cumulative.

Install BI 4.1 SP6 Patch 4 on top of BI 4.1 SP6.
