How to trigger activity or launch an app automatically after logon

Hi guys,

I wonder if it is possible to "do something" in launchpad right after user has logged on. Show him a system message and ask for confirmation. Or have him to enter some data like the color of his shoes.Just some small interaction with the user before she starts her "real" work.

Is that possible? Did you ever had similar requirements?

Or can/should I modify logon screen?
