RFC Between two server

Hi Experts,

I am having problem in one of my server, We have two server one is on premises IBM server (DEV) and Production is on Cloud IBM SOFTLAYER

My problem is that i can Connect from On Premises (DEV) to PRD but not from PRD to DEV

when i connect through RFC SM59 it gives following error PRD--------> DEV

How to solve this

    Hi Experts,

    Thanks for your reply,

    I am able to ping PRD from DEV but not DEV from PRD,

    But iam able to connect both DEV/PRD through SAP Login , I want to know that Do i need to open any port in DEV

    Please Provide me a solution

    Hi,

    Error code 10060 is completely related with the network.Suggest you to follow above recommendations first in terms of firewall,network connections at your end.

    Hi Experts,

    The problem solved,

    The port 3302 was blocked we opened the port

    we add Host Public IP in the Host file of the windows

    the RFC worked fine

    thank you all for help

    Hello Sunil,

    If your hostname, IP address and port number details are correct in your RFC destination and the hostname and IP correctly exist in the cloud server /etc/hosts then it's seems quite likely it's a firewall issue.

    Hi Roy

    if you can ping DEV IP from PRD to see if the two servers can reach together

    check if there some network security or in the DEV server
