Ping failed for Connection created in HCPms

Hi,

I am working on the trial SAP HCPms and have created a connection to a service with URL https://sapes1.sapdevcenter.com/sap/opu/odata/sap/ZGWSAMPLE_SRV

The screenshot contains the connection data to the service url.

After saving the details and clicking on Ping to test the connection, I get en error message stating "-1 : Failed to execute ping"

If I run the URL in a browser window I am able to view the service document details.

How do I ensure that the connection test works from the HCPms cockpit ?
