Navigation to BRF object through hyper link

Hi Experts,

I have a requirement, where the user will like to navigate directly to a rule / ruleset by clicking on a button.

To elaborate more -

Lets assume we have 2 departments in an organisation, each department has their own rules and rulesets, now dept 1 wants to navigate straight to the ruleset which belongs to them, without having the pain of opening the workbench and finding their appropriate rule / ruleset.

can anyone help me with this ?

    you can create a custom transaction using the UI execution class of BRFplus to do so. You fetch the reference via:

    cl_fdt_wd_factory=>if_fdt_wd_factory~get_instance( )->get_ui_execution( )

    The easiest way to directly open the object you want is:

    lo_ui_exec->execute_workbench( iv_id = <UUID of your object>)

    This gates you directly to the BRFplus object you specified. You can also influence the apperance of the UI by specifying a custom UI mode class:

    lo_ui_exec->set_ui_mode( io_ui_mode = NEW zcl_brfpluscustom_uimode( ) ).

    For the custom ui mode class you can check the class cl_fdt_wd_ui_simple_mode i. e. the if_fdt_wd_ui_mode~get_configuration method in order to see what you can influence on the BRFplus UI

    Hope that helps
