Hello,

Need help, I am getting every other day issue in BI 4.0 with error as below,

llegal access to the viewer, please use a valid url.

I had to restart SIA to restore service, I have seen similar issues in this forum but the fix was license key however when I look at the glf logs the issue seems here related to memory.

could someone give some ideas here please. Attached are logs from system.

Thanks. For me this issue is seen with multiple servers.

For eg: One server is with 112 GB of RAM andwith XL system config wizard configuration.

Another with 256Gb of RAM and XL configuration.

Another server with 64Gb of RAM and large configuration.

All servers has their own reports available in which end user will refresh some random reports on daily basis and some reports are scheduled say., in 256Gb ram server we have 8 reports scheduled.

This issue is seem more frequently on day to day activities and we are expecting some kind of tuning which will solve this issue permanently. Any kind of suggestions are welcome.

There might be couple of things which might be causing the issue.

1. Check if Licnese key is not expired.

2. Check the ports are opne for WEBI processing server. IFRS, OFRS, APS, AJS. Make sure the ports are open in firewall. Or  WEBI processing server properties, using 'Host Identifiers, select IP Address and provide Server IP address. Restart the WEBI processing server.

Let us know what you find.

Hi Jawahar,

License is still valid.

Ports are open. As suggested we have even restarted wips service.

Server is under monitoring.

Hi,

Same issue is being observed in my BI server as well. Myself currently in BI4.1 SP5 P4 version.

Could someone please suggest some permanent solution for this issue?
