Hi Shanmugam

1 right click on your DSO--> go to manage..

2 content tab-> deletion-> Logs

PFB...

when you double click on any entry, you will get detailed info of selective deletion criteria.

Job which runs for select. deletion have prefix "BI_INDX*" --> execute report RSINDEX1.

Use below tables for more details:

RSDRDLOGHEADER Log Delete Actions (Header Table)

RSDRDLOGPOSITION Log Delete Actions (Positions)

Hi Shanmugam

Did you check the manage screen as I mentioned in my earlier reply? Did you find anything different?

One more thing which I need to ask you. You have mentioned that all the requests are available in the manage screen but data is not visible.

How did you confirm that? Is it through display data for any period past 6 months or something else?

there is query which was showing three years worth data before but not now...

Is that query based on your DSO?

Generally queries will not be built on write optimized DSOs though it is possible to do so.

Could you please check if the query is actually built on this or any other info-providers?

Hi Shanmugam

In few cases, the selective deletion logs gets doesn't get updated at once. I have seen in few scenarios when the selective deletion went well but the logs didn't get updated for few days.

There is another option to get the information whether a request is selectively deleted or not (until your logs get updated). In your manage screen, if the requests are selectively deleted, a symbol will appear as separate field as below.

If you click on the symbol, it will give you much more information on how many records are deleted, the job details and the user details as below.

Hope this helps

Hi Shanmugam,

If all the requests are present in the 'requests' tab and no selective deletion logs are found, in that case, data should be present. If not, there could be a minute possibility of a routine code to delete the data from the write optimized dso. And if you want to see the requests in recent past, you can select the DTP and click on the option 'monitor' and then, you find the requests of data loads.

Hi,

Double click on your DTP. Click on Monitor. Here Select the Free Date as filter and execute.

It will display both request list. Deleted and Finished/Errors.

Thanks,
