My client has 400 functional locations and they have created around 500 Notifications and 500 Preventive maintenance orders with these functional locations and many Notifications and maintenance orders are still open, They are not catering any kind of cost on all open and closed maintenance orders. It is also noted that Funds Management is also activated on maintenance orders. Now, client wants to upload new functional locations with new structure indicator and uninstall the existing Equipment from existing Functional locations and assign them to the new.
Based on above scenario, please reply for the below.
1- What is the best practice to do this activity ?
2- Can we map this requirement by keeping all transaction data (All open and closed Notification and Orders) remain as it is in the system ?
3- If I should delete all functional locations, Notifications and Orders, so what would be state of all these data and deletion sequence and steps ?
