Sonogram PERNER

HHello everyon,

I have what I hope is not a unique situation. My client wants to generate/view PERNERS early on in the process before they become active in SAP.

Currently we are internally generating the PERNERS. Is there a way to view/copy what the next PERNER will be before it becomes active. Some guys on the team are currently proposing creating another Hire Action but I'm hoping theres a better way without disrupting our current setup.

Any pointers would extremely appreciated.

    Hi Godwin,

How about pre-hire action for initial entry of the future employee’s data into your system of record by creating 0000, 0001,0002,0019 , 0006 and 0105.

This is like “First Hiring” Action with function code in table T529A being set to 1.so that system to assign a personnel number (PERNR) for the employee , it is important that it receive Function Code “1”

We should be pre-hiring the employee into an Inactive Status. Use Customer-Specific Status to a designated “Pre-Hire” status along with the SAP Employment status set to Inactive & put him/her into Payroll Area 99 or non-payroll relevant.

Use in Monitoring of Tasks (Infotype 0019) to configure Expected Start Date and set a reminder time to 1 week prior to arrival to drive notifications to various interested parties.
