WBS Masking series

Hi Team,

I am in situation where WBS Masking range is about to get exhausted.

After going through multiple SCN threads looks like current masking cannot be deleted to add extra 0 in number as so many wbs codes and networks are created with that number range.

Please share how can I proceed with my issue resolution.

    Dear,

Hope you can create other coding mask with different structure and make use of it for all new projects. Before that kindly chcek whether all pipe projects needs to be closed.

For old one you can activate check boxes for Lck ,Lks.

    Regards,

    Pardhu

    Hi,

You cannot delete a coding mask, but in some cases you can extend it. Please read the associated help information.

    Another solution is archiving.

    Regards,

    Paulo

Archiving older Projects will help clear the codes for reuse

      Thanks Vittal,

Archiving is a big project in itself.

Not sure which archiving object you would like to suggest , but in my previous company had used PS_Project which archives WBS from PRPs but there are other drawbacks to that.
