Copying of context nodes

19 Views

Hi!

I am trying to build a web dynpro component, which displays a table which can be generically filled with data. To tell the component which node it has to display in the table, I created a context Node in the Interface Controller of the component.

Because the component shall display data from various kind and number of attributes, I don´t want to "hard"-bind the attributes.

The only thing I want to do is to bind the node which attributes shall be displayed in the table. I thought it would be possible to get the "real" attributes from the source of the bound node, but cannot find any way to get them easilly. Maybe this ist better for unterstanding:

Component A Component B (the one to be reused)

Node i       --bind--> Node i
|-- attrib_1
|-- attrib_2
|-- ..
|-- attrib_n

As you can see, Component B only has a binding for Node i and no binding for the attributes of Node i. How can I get those attributes out of the controller of Component B?
