Hi Guys,
I would appreciate your help with the above
I have two reports, Main and a sub report, these two are linked by a calculated field,
• Main report asks for a relative date e.g Yesterday
• Calculated field(Mindate) in Main rpt (if user selects relative date of yesterday, yesterday start(00:00:00 time stamp added)
• Calculated field(Maxdate) in Main rpt (if user selects relative date of yesterday , end (23:59:59 time stamp added)
• Both above two fields are linked to the subreports {?Startdate} and the {?enddate}
• I have placed the calculated/{?StartDate/?Enddate} fields in the report and can verify that im passing the right populated fields from the main to the sub report.
• The subreport is placed on the Detail field of the Main report
Now my problem, when I run the report, I get blank preview report, but when I double click on the subreport within the preview, the report generates and gets populated with the correct data, I don’t understand why the data is not dynamical presented, I have done the same on crystal 2013, on a BOE 4 environment and it works fine, but using Crystal Reports 10, Crystal Enterprise 10 I just cannot seem to get it to work
I have tried the On-Demand, re-import when opening settings with no success, I even re-did the Main report/links, but still get the same results, please help
Hi mjmapi,
Make sure 'On-demand' is not selected for the Subreport.
Next, make sure 'Can Grow' is enabled for the Subreport (Right-click subreport > Format > Common tab)

Hi Abhi,
By default, my report is setup as such, even tried the settings virse-versa with no success.
I took the same report and published it on my other clients system which is on BOE 4, the report runs fine there without any issues.
It has to be a version issue since the non working version is Crystal Reports/Enterprise 10 version.
