I am getting an error while doing settlement of internal order to cost center

While doing settlement of internal order to cost center,above error occured.Though my allocation structure is 32 and i have assigned it in settlement profile and also have defined sources in 32 allocation structure. still i am getting this error so please help me

Hello Sir,

             actually what happened that i copied settlement profile from another settlement profile and forgot to change allocation structure in it,then at settlement time i changed it to 32 allocation structure and system still shows me above error.

Hi Dhrumi

You create a new settlement profile from scratch and assign allocation structure you have defined..then do all other setting in ord type... I think this issue will be solved. As you have copied settlement profile all relevant assignment copied to target profile causing this error.

Hello Kamal Sir,

                Do I need to create whole order type,planning,budgeting,settlement profiles? and also tolerance limit,allocation structure? Because I created new settlement profile and assigned to order type and settlement couldn't be done.

Yes...do not use any component used in old settlement profile..create every thing ....

Hi Dhrumil,

The error is occur because for settlement of your internal order system take different allocation structure as shown in error it's AD.

First of all you check In KOT2 you which order type is assign for internal order and for that order type which settlement profile is assigned and also check in OKO7 which allocation structure to your settlement profile

As system get AD as allocation structure make change on OKO7 change allocation structure from AD to 32.

Dear Prasad,

                Thank you for your prompt reply,I have checked all settings,correct order type "ad2" is assigned to internal order,allocation structure 32 is assigned in settlement profile "ad2s",and also cost element group is defined in source section of allocation structure and also settlement cost element is assigned.

And "AD" allocation structure has been deleted from system

Hi Dhrumil,

Then check your allocation structure (OKO6) check whether you maintained settlement cost elements for 32 allocation structure.

Also check the whether you maintain settlement rule for your internal order as Cat ( CTR) and assign cost center in settlement receiver

And in settlement profile maintain valid receiver "Settlement Optional"

Hi Prasad,

        I have already assigned all that you mentioned above,it seems perfect,although i m still getting error and funny part is allocation structure "AD" is deleted from SAP System.
