Product master creation manually

Dear all,

I have created a program to create a product by reading the material master information from ECC.

The product is created successfully with same backend ECC information.

But we are using the standard replication process also. The manual creation is only for certain material when there is any problem in the standard replication.

The issue here are,

1. when I create a product manually thru' custom program. the same product is try to replicate again through automatic replication.

i.e. the user is updating the material information in ECC, the changes should be replicated to SRM also thr' standard replication process.

at that time I am getting an error .

A product 7XXXX is already exists.

The above product is created manually through my custom program reading all the data from ECC system and the logsys maintained in the product is ECC logsys.

Provide your input..why I am getting this issue. Why the material replication is not happing for this material.
