Hi ,
I need Expert advise to create accounts in SAP B1.
can any body explain me the End to End accounting creation process? please provide notes or link that I can go ahead and prefer it.
Regards & Thanks,
Vikas Thorat
Hi Vikas,
For End to End Accounting process you need to create Chart of Account well known as CoA, under defined drawer and under defined Head (Title Account).
As you create the chart of account you need to map the COA under GL Account Determination in given Tab(s), so that you can have your end-to-end process mapping for Financials aspects.
Because if you do not map the COA you will not be able to Process any posting of marketing document.
And as far as about the account segmentation you need to ask your client whether he is in practice for segmentation account, or whether he likes to include it from now.
If your client does perform branch accounting you can do so by account segmentation in B1.
and as provided link by the experts above you can refer that, and also if you have SBO Common database, then you can refer that too to understand the basic fundamental of COA
