Multiple sessions while trying to enter a business role

Hi All,

I am trying to solve an odd issue observed for certain users in an Interaction center set up. I am unsure what the cause of this issue is.

Certain users who have limited business roles assigned to them face this. When they try to enter an IC business role, the page refreshes to the list of business role. No matter how many times they try to enter it, they are unable to enter the business role even though they do have access to view it and occasionally the system does allow the user to enter it.

Everytime this happens, a new line of Agent Dashboard is added to the base of the page and at the back end SM04, a new session is created for the user.

Any advice would be great! Thanks in Advance!

    Hello Kamalika,

    Please check if this issue only happens for IC business roles for thoese users?

    How about normal UIU business roles like SALESPRO ?

    .

    For the users who has the problem, which business roles have problem? Is it only one specific business role? Or all the business roles assigned to those users?

    .

    How the limitted business roles are assigned to thoese users? Via PFCG? or Via org. unit? etc?

    .

    What's the difference between those users who have the problem and those users who don't have the problem? Are they assigned business roles in different ways?

    .

    Please check SAP KBA 1637445 - CRM Web UI with Interaction Center business role hangs after logon.

    • Please test this:

      1. For a user who doesn't have the problem, please remove the parameter crm_ui_profile, and assign him the same business roles using PFCG. ---> if the same problem also starts for him?

      2. Use a business role which has the problem to make this test: remove function profile CONTACTCENTER from this business role --> if the user who has the problem won't get the problem again after this change.

      3. have you tried to make a httpwatch trace as mentioned in 1637445? You can upload the trace file here. Maybe someone can get something from it.
