hi,
i have a VERY strange situation in a test enviroment:
I have a user assgined to infotype 105, subtype 1 (XXESSEM2):
When I log in to ESS with XXESSEM2: inside leave request i have NO employees in team calendar. Message "No Team setup for the user in the selection period. Contact administrator" appears.
When i change to another user for the same pernr (ZZCSCVM_EXT).
When i log in into ESS with ZZCSCSVM_EXT: i see the employees in team calenadar correctly (i have erased names in screenshot):
Note that even if i put SAP_ALL and SAP_NEW to the user it does NOT work. so it can't be an authority problem !!!
Has anybody an idea why this strange behaviour occurs ???
br Martin
does that employee belongs to a particular org unit and does that org unit has proper team members along with this employee once check ...like other employee which u can see above cross check once

Martin,
So you are using the same PERNR for both usernames. Only thing I can think of is after switching the username on the PERNR try running PFUD and then also when you login as the same PERNR but different users are you able to see the team members in the Team Page for both users? also in that same page try the Refresh button and then see if it changes anything for you in the Team Calendar view. Also compare the USERS parameters in SU01.
Hope one of those suggestions will help.
Thanks,
Martha.
Hi Martha,
i see that you would do the same steps as i have already gone trough. before i post anything here in the forum i do my best to solve the issues on my own.
and thats the reason why i am so despaired about that as i have exactly already checked everything you suggest to do: `PFUD, refreshing the sessions in IE, comparing the users in SU01,..... but nothing to find there
Now i have copied the user ZZCSCSVM_EXT (the one where employees are shown in team calendar) -> lassigned new copied user to IT 105 -> loged on with this new 1:1 copy -> and the team calendar is NOT displayed ! change back the user back in IT 105 to ZZCSCSVM_EXT -> loged on with user ZZCSCSVM_EXT -> and team calendar is displayed correct with all the employees ! i am confused
thats one of the strangest things i experienced in my 20+ years with SAP
br Martin
actually i did encounter similar issues recently even i couldnt locate the issue for many of them but for one of them later it turned out to be authorisation. NOT IN your case alas
We compared the authorisation, roles, and OM assignment. ie in similar situation
. the CP of the pernr assigned was also checked.
typically these issues wont occur in production as we dont switch users, i ll let you know
see screenshot: now i have isolated the problem on deeper level:
see screenshot: the call of HRWPC_GET_PATHROOTS comes back with sy-subrc = 1, so there are noo root objects selected ! with this check-statement the program ends.
but until now i have no idea why fm is coming back with sy-subrc = 1
br Martin
going one more time into details: the call of fm RH_STRUC_GET brings NO result (= sy-subrc 2) !!!
this parameters are used:
ROOT_OBJECT-OTYPE | US | |
ROOT_OBJECT-REALO | XXESSEM2 | |
ROOT_OBJECT-PLVAR | 01 | |
PATHID | PTXSSORG | |
BEGDA | 20151109 | |
ENDDA | 20151109 | |
DEPTH | 0 |
when calling the same FM with user ZZCSCSVM_EXT instead of XXESSEM2 it works !
i think the problem is a read on table T77UA !!!! with user XXESSEM2 there is NO entry ! for user ZZCSCSVM_EXT there are many entries found !
so what this table T77UA is all about ? i never heard about that table ?!?!?
any ideas ? i think now we are very close to solve the issue.
br Martin
yes typically, SAP_ALL doesnt mean they ll get all the authorisation and there might be a intersection of roles. hence it did indeed come out to authorisation issue after all, most time it is initial guess was right as it turned to be with my other customer
user is indexed and first you enter the user in this table ie T77ua
