Issue of restarting CE service for deploying java programs.

Hello, SCN friends !

I want to ask some question about screen apply in CE environment.

We are using CE7.3 version in JAVA stack environment.

If our developer deploys developed screen and change table structure,

we have to restart application layer for applying screen.

We confirmed that couldn't apply screen and table without system restart.

We tried to search on browser and found cache initialization method.

Could you provide me with applying method deployed screen and changed table structure directly at CE?

Additionally, I provide you with path of cache initialization method. Look at the below.

http://<IP address>:50000/irj -> System Administration -> Cache Management -> Navigation Cache

Thanks and best regards.

    Hi ,

Can you please explain what type of application and what type of table structure?

Whenever you deploy the application into the Portal the the old instance of the application will be un-deployed from the server and the new instance of the application will be deployed and it will be started.

Navigation Cache is related to Role level & Collaboration level i think it is no where related to Application level cache.

      Hello, Srinivasan V.

      Thanks for your reply.

Our application is CE 7.3. And type of table structure is CBO table(It interface between CE and ERP) in ERP.

We have restarted CE 7.3 service when field type, name of CBO table.

If you need more information about this, respond this message.
