How to install CC license with a different installation number?

Hi,

I am facing error while trying to import a permanent license generated from a different installation number than the temporary license which is currently installed in the system.

I did go through the installation and administration guide but couldn't find a way to "replace" the license.

The error I am getting is:

This system's installation number is "00XXXXXXXX", but there is a license key for installation number "00YYYYYYYY" in file /home/USER/XXX_Standard.txt.

License key file /home/USER/XXX_Standard.txt doesn't contain any valid SAP license keys.

License key(s) not completely installed.

Hi,

Apparently there is no direct way of replacing licenses in CC.

To do so, take a backup of "LICENSE" table using database utility. cleanup the table and apply license again as given in installation guide.

I hope this helps someone else.
