How can I pass data into backend server from UI5

Hello everyone,

I am very new to UI5 (in fact, so new that I don't even know how to ask question properly. So I apologize in advance) and I want to send user input from UI5 to SQL Anywhere backend using web service. How can I achieve this? Any input is appriciated.

Thank you,

Jinwoo

for your SQL Anywhere question and for posting/getting data from other sources, you may use an ajax call -

    hope this helps

xmlmodel is probably the best to use with WS

    SAPUI5 SDK - Demo Kit

or you can always use $.ajax to copile HTTP SOAP payload manually, more painfull but you have full control over it
