how come my 64bit sql server driver does not display on the install option

I am doing an install on my dev server for BI 4.1 sp6. I have created a 64 bit odbc connection for my sql server. It is not displaying when I go to install nothing show up unless I select the option to consume dsn created under wow64 but these are my 32 bit connections. I can see the connection in the windows administrator odbc 64 connections and it tests successfully but I don't see it in the install options - even when I refresh. Any ideas? I have logged a ticket but hoping I hear sooner here.😕
