Deploying MS SQL Server 2012 JDBC Driver in BPM Front-End Instance

Hi Folks,

Any ideas how to deploy JDBC drivers for ms sql server 2012 in the BPM Front-end virtual machine?

(developing a BPM<->PO scenario which includes making a synchronous call to an MS SQL Server database table, but the JDBC Receiver Comm.Channel has thrown the following error:

"com.sap.engine.interfaces.messaging.api.exception.MessagingException: com.sap.engine.interfaces.messaging.api.exception.MessagingException: Error when attempting to get processing resources: com.sap.aii.af.lib.util.concurrent.ResourcePoolException: Unable to create new pooled resource: DriverManagerException: Cannot establish connection with the registered driver. com.microsoft.sqlserver.jdbc.SQLServerDriver returns: com.microsoft.sqlserver.jdbc.SQLServerDriver.

: SAPClassNotFoundException: com.microsoft.sqlserver.jdbc.SQLServerDriver"

Many thanks in advance!

Reuben.

    Hi Reuben,

Could you please elaborate more on your usecase? Where do you want to insert the data (same database as process orchestration system)?

The database of process orchestration system which is provided in CAL is on HANA and not on MSSQL. This is provided in a Linux host.

There is no MSSQL server installed on the BPM front end server. So you will not be able to insert data into the BPM Front End Server.

    Regards,

    Abhinag
