SAP PI SP upgrade

Hi

I am working on SAP PO, 7.4 SP 08. I don't have REST adapter in my system. So I am planning to do an upgrade from SP 08 to SP011 for using the adapter. Initially I thought of upgarding to SP 09 but I heard that REST has all features in SP 011

I want to know few things.

1) Is SP 011 the best option or do I have to go for another version.

2) I am using JDBC, SOAP, Proxy and AS2 scenarios in the landscape. Will the upgrade effect my scenarios in any way?

3) Are there any notes that explain the readiness checks that I have to do after a patch upgrade?

These are some of the additional feautures available in SP11.So decide according to the requirments.

I guess it wont affect these scenarios.

Can you provide any links which I can share with the BASIS so that they can do this activity?

Hello Harish,

Service pack will be available in Market Place,Basis team will download and upgrade it.

After doing restart will be required.

BASIS says they wil upgrade the server to PO 7.4 SP 12 from the existing PO 7.4 SP 08.

Does this version comes in both single stack and dual stack? How to ensure that we will get ONLY single stack?

That SP version is available for the two versions. You should download only the AEX version as you are in single stack.
