Deployment issue

Hello,

Below is the error we get when trying to Deploy through NWDS.

unable to connect to ddcecd.sap.net:50013-no route to host :connect)nested exception is:com.sap.engine.services.webservices.esapbase.client.bindings.exception.TransportBindingException:COnnection IO exception

check nested exception for details(unable to connect to ddcecd.sap.net:50013-no route to host

Please let me know what can i check.

From OS level we ar eable to deploy

windows server.

Hope you are doing good.

The deploy port is either 5<nr>18 (for 6.40 and 7.00 servers) and 5<nr>04 for 7.1+ servers. Please see

sap kba 1715441. Kindly try this first

Hello,

Below is the error i get when i do telnet.

telnet hostname: 50004

telnet hostname: 50013

telnet hostname: 50018

could not open connection to the host  on port 23 :connection failed.

Hi,

The correct syntax is

telnet hostname port_no

avoid : in between hostname and port _no

So it means no issues with connectivity.

is it possible to get profile parameter service/protectedwebmethods value?

if you want find profile parameter value , execute following steps.

open url http://<hostname>:50013

it opens SAP Management Console, just right click in instance and find profile parameter value

and follow this note 2088024  - OS Logon to SAP JEE Host popup in NWDS

Hi Shekar,

Basis team maintains these profile parameters either in DEFAULT or instance profiles.

Can you request basis team to provide profile  parameter value and also in which profile(Default or Instance ) its been maintained.

Can you try deployment from different PC?

Hi,

Check

1. Is SDM up and running?

2. Is the host name details maintained in host file?

Also, I believe the correct port should be 50018.

Go through the sap note if that helps...

is port 50013 opened from pc where nwds running to server?

To confirm port accessibility execute "telnet 50013 {server name} " from command prompt .

just open browser and try opening <hostname>:50013.

Hello Shekar,

The telnet syntax is wrong.

It should be: telnet <hostname> <port>

Also I noticed in your message that there is a incoherence between what you posted and what is in your screen shot.

ddcecd.sap.net:50013

lpcphxepd.lpxsap.net:50013

Which one is your NWDS server ?

As a very simple starting point, please try and ping from you PC the servers you are trying to connect to. Also ensure that the IP address of the servers is in your local hosts file.
